"The holy city has been captured and recaptured many times by contending forces.  In several of the sieges it has been partially ruined, but in at least four it has been practically destroyed, the first about 1,400 B.C., when captured by the tribes of Judah and Simeon; the second in 586 by Nebuchadnezzar ; the third in 170 B.C by Antiochus Epiphanes ; the fourth, and doubtless most terrible, in 70 A.D., by Titus.." "Have Automobiles and Airships Been the Subject of Bible Prophecy?
Nahum 2:4 has been quoted as referring to automobiles, but this appears to strain the meaning of the passage, which was written as a direct prophecy of the destruction of Nineveh.  The verse describes the mad rush of those in chariots to escape the enemy.  Isa. 60:8 has been thought by some to be a reference to the coming use of airships, but here again the direct meaning is obvious, that in the time of Judah's prosperity ships shall flock to her shores as doves to the windows of their dovecotes.  Hab. 1:8 might be thought to presage manflight, but the figure is used to express the terrific haste with which the Chaldeans shall come against Judea."  (#161)

I'M IN NEED OF CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS TO SUPPORT ME IN MY EFFORT TO CLAIM THE $10,000 THAT COL. WILSON OFFERED TO ANYONE WHO CAN PRODUCE VERSES IN THE BIBLE AS EVIDENCE THAT THE RAPTURE IS A VALID EVENT SANCTIONED BY GOD.
I HAVE PRESENTED THIS EVIDENCE, CHARTED A PATH THAT BRINGS CLARITY AS WELL AS PROOF. HERE IS AN EVENT THAT HAS CREATED CONTENTION AMONG CHRISTIANS AND THEOLOGIANS WHO DO NOT SEEM TO GRASP THE FACT THAT THEOLOGY IS MAN'S STUDY OF GOD WHILE IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD WHO BRINGS ALL THINGS IN REMEMBRANCE OF CHRIST (John 14:26).
SPEED'S WEBSITE HAS NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO POST MY LABORS THAT PROVE THAT HE HAS NO CLUE OF WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT WITH THE VERSES HE IS USING TO DISCLAIM THE RAPTURE. IF HE CAN NOT SEE WHAT IS PLAIN AND CLEAR HE IS FOOLING HIMSELF CALLING HIMSELF A CHRISTIAN.
CHRISTIANS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IN LOVE WITH THE TRUTH AND THIS IS A WEBSITE THAT IS BUILT UPON THE WORK OF CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS AND CHRISTIAN APOLOGIST OF WHOm WE HAVE COME BEHIND TO AUGMENT THEIR TRUTH. E.B. WHITE WROTE MANY BOOKS BEFORE THE TURN OF THE CENTURY CONVINCED THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD WAS AT HAND NOT REALIZING HER ERROR THAT THIS PREMISE WAS WRONG BECAUSE ALL OF THE PROPHECIES THAT CAME BEFORE THIS EVENT WAS STILL IN THE MAKING.

Dear Mr.Sandison,
I am submitting this comment concerning Col. Wilson's Rapture challenge and offer of $10,000 to anyone who can give an equal amount of supporting Scriptures to the ones he produced that disproved that a physical removal of the Church is a false premise based on the Scriptures he presented as evidence. With all due respects to Col. Wilson, I too am a former combat Marine who served with ground forces in Vietnam ('67-'69) and by no means am I trying to demean Col. Wilson but he has based his denial of the truth of the Rapture on Scripture that show his position fits the truth as a tuxedo on a gorilla.
There are scholars whose labors are represented on the Preterist website and the Scripture that the Colonel bases his evidence on is absurd, shows a lack of scholarship with verses taken out of context and his denial of the Rapture is based solely upon the fact that the word Rapture itself does not appear in Scripture but directly under his nose he uses 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Chapter 5 which are inferences to the Rapture. In 1 Corinthians 15:51 Paul explains it has a MYSTERY and the cross reference to note it is 1 Thessalonians 4:17 the same he uses to deny the Rapture event.
I presented my evidence directly from Revelations based on a word study and tangible evidence that gives support based on logic. Since the Rapture is about the physical removal of the Church (individuals) from the world before God brings down His wrath upon the wicked, if this is not so then why is the word CHURCH itself absent between chapters 3 through the last chapter of the Bible 22:16 which is a scene in heaven.
The evidence that believers have produced on Col. Wilson's $10,000 challenge website show that their hearts are in the right place but their supporting verses are weak.
I respectfully request that my proof be examined by those more qualified in scholarship than Col. Wilson to determine the precision and clarity of the path I showed in Revelations that give nothing but a positive report in evidence of the Rapture.
