There is no hate hidden behind the content of this page, though many will make sure to find such here.  Preterism is not inherently Anti-Semitc -- nor is Dispensationalism, though that charge is sometimes made.  Any Christian is in sin if they exhibit personal hatred against anyone.  According to many, the long standing "replacement theology" of historical Christianity is anti-Semitic (see below).  Some say that an Anti-Semite is anyone opposed politically to a Zionist state... But there are a large number of Anti-Zionist Jews in the world.  Any definition that considers these Jewish people guilty of "anti-Semitism" is not reasonable.   This section is presented to help discern the line between political opposition and racial bias.

• Holy Land churches attack Christian Zionism The Bishop in Jerusalem, Riah Abu Al-Assal has joined other Arab Christian leaders in releasing a statement denouncing “Christian Zionism” and the “contemporary alliance of Christian Zionist leaders and organizations” with Israel. “Christian Zionism” has justified “colonization, apartheid and empire-building” by Israel, Bishop Riah, wrote on August 22. Millenarian views that the present day state of Israel was an agent of God were a perversion of Christian doctrine Bishop Riah, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Michel Sabbah, the Syrian Orthodox Archbishop of Jerusalem Swerios Malki Mourad, and the Lutheran bishop of Jordan and the Holy Land Munib Younan wrote. Bishop Riah’s concerns were highlighted in an August 23 report by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, which found that approximately 42 percent of Americans believe “Israel was given to the Jewish people by God,” while a third of Americans (35%) stated they believed the state of Israel was “part of the fulfillment of biblical prophecy about the second coming of Jesus.”
• Chavez said that U.S. backing of Israel is putting world on course for “Holocaust.” - "Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said Friday that U.S. backing of Israel is responsible for flaming tensions in the Middle East and putting the world on course toward another “Holocaust.”“The fundamental blame falls again on the U.S. empire. It’s the empire that armed and supported the abuses of the Israeli elite, which has invaded, abused and defied the United Nations for a long time” “I’ll seize this opportunity to condemn categorically and fully the aggression that the Israeli elite is carrying out against innocents over there in the Middle East,” he said.

• Irving sentenced to three years in Vienna jail for Holocaust Denial - "Denying the Holocaust is illegal in Austria and punishable with a sentence of up to 10 years. The author said that he had visited the country twice since 1989 without being arrested, and had thought that the charges had been dropped. Lord Janner, the chairman of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said that he was "pleased" at Irving's conviction.  "It is the conviction and not the sentence that matters," he said.  "It sends a clear message to the world that we must not tolerate the denial of the mass murders of the Holocaust."
• Pope to visit Auschwitz - "Referring to a biblical psalm about the destruction of Jerusalem, the Pope said: "It was almost a symbolic foretelling of the extermination camps in which the Jewish people were subjected to as part of infamous project of death which remains an indelible shame on the history of humanity.”
• Links to Christian Zionists pose peril - Jewish Journal of L.A. - "The theology of many Christian Zionists states there can be no peace for Israel until the longed-for “second coming” of Jesus, and that, in fact, the “end times” will include efforts to deceive the world with false promises of peace. That theology would be a matter of scant interest for most Jews, except for this concern: If the evangelicals’ new political power helps them prevent new peace efforts because they view all peacemaking in the here-and-now as literally satanic, the costs could be paid in Israeli blood. For the great majority of Christians, their forecasts are not recognized. Although Google says it has no plans to take down the site, anti-Jewwatch websites and petitions have been created, calling for the site's removal and demonstrating the strength of feeling surrounding the issue. The email forwards that have been circulating on the internet this week have been requesting 50,000 signatures to force Google to change its mind. That target was beaten yesterday."
