Past or Future?
An Analsis of Preterism and Hank Hanegraaff
Part #1 |
Part #2 |
Part #3
Dr. Thomas Ice, gives what Christians should
know about the false new teaching that the Book of Revelation and most
of Bible prophecy has already been fulfilled. This view is known as
Preterism (Latin for past). Thomas Ice explains and exposes preterism
and proponents such as Hank Hanegraaff in a three-hour presentation. Ice
deals with such issues as “this generation” in Matthew 24:34; the date
of the Book of Revelation and how it militates against Preterism; the
meaning of “quickly” and “at hand” in the Book of Revelation; the
implications concerning the preterist view of the modern state of
Israel; church history issues relating to preterism and
dispensationalism and much more.

The (New) History of Full Preterism (Part Two) - This is the
third presentation from last year in Carlsbad. Big file.
Sorry about the gap at the end... that is the part where I recited the
pledge of allegiance, sang the Star Spangled Banner, and had an altar
call where the next Billy Graham got saved.

The Beast
of Revelation Identified Who is the dreaded beast of Revelation? Now at
last, a plausible candidate for this personification of evil incarnate has
been identified (or re-identified). Ken Gentry's insightful analysis of
scripture and history is likely to revolutionize your understanding of the
book of Revelation -- and even more importantly -- amplify and energize your
entire Christian worldview!

Dave Hunt on Preterism
"they put out a statement a few years ago that all the promises to Israel
were fulfilled in the time of Joshua. Now Joshua lived 110 years, these are
everlasting promises, this is an everlasting covenant, everlasting
possession of this land. And we would only have to go to, I mean, there are
hundreds of prophecies promising Israel be restored. " // On Hyper Preterism:
"They claim that Jesus Christ returned in fulfillment of His promise to come
back to take us to heaven, He returned in the person of the Roman armies to
destroy Jerusalem and to excommunicate Israel, and Israel is finished. Now
if that is not wicked, and if that is not twisting the scriptures I don’t
know what is."

Preteristblog
on Covenant Radio's recent split from "full preterism"
Covenant Radio Release on Hyper-Preterism (2009) "It is
the position of Covenant Radio, including its host, that
this paradigm of hyper preterism needs to be called for what
it is. It is a heterodox movement and position.
We realize that this will annoy some people that are
followers of this theological movement and that is
not the intention of this official statement. The
intention is to make clear to all the listeners and
potential guests where Covenant Radio sees this paradigm and
why it is to be rejected as a viable position
eschatologically." (Response:
"Yep, and I see the same old lie about Noyes is still being
served up. Disinformation. That tactic won't work.
Preterists are too smart. I love this bit of idiocy: "We
realize that this will annoy some people that are followers
of this theological movement and that is not the intention
of this official statement. The intention is to make clear
to all the listeners and potential guests where Covenant
Radio sees this paradigm and why it is to be rejected as a
viable position eschatologically." Translation: "We don't
mean to annoy you heretics, like Jason, who helped me build
my webpage, and helped promote Covenant Radio with good
faith. We just want to be bigger and more popular so that we
have big names like Kenneth Gentry on the show." (sam)
Roderick
Edwards appearing on Covenant Radio - "to discuss the
eschatological paradigm known as “hyper-preterism”. Mr .
Edwards, a former hyper-preterist is well versed in this
topic and this will be a good discussion dealing with the
in’s and out’s of this system of eschatology."
