A & P F, I believe asked a question on here that I never saw any answer. He asked about salvation and how we get saved. Folks, this is the most important question of all. We need to know the answer, and I hope the man who asked the question reads this. There is a five step process, Hear the Word, Believe Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God, Repent, Confess, and be baptized. All those steps are scriptural, and because they are scriptural they should be taught as so. No where in the Bible, concerning New Testament times is there a place that shows someone becoming a Christian by saying a "sinner's prayer", that is not scriptural. Just obey the gospel.

Have you felt the call to enter the mission field, but you have been turned down for sponsorship because of your preterist view of eschatology. Hi, I am Charles Varner and I would like to help. I am trying to build up a missions fund for the purpose of providing guidance, information and financial support to missionaries that have a preterist view of eschatology. If you would like more information email me at: bapreterist@sbcglobal.net

Your reasoning makes sense, though I always thought a jewish generation was 50-70yrs historically speaking. which brought my conclusion of something happening around 2012 and being a mid 7yr treaty girl, I also thought the treaty would then be signed around 2005 sometime. But your homework is good and could convince me as I only base my knowledge on others who can access the details. Though I and many friends have had lots of end time dreams and warnings and we have discovered so of many other christians world wide, any dreams we have had on other subjects have been literal. So hold onto your hats I do believe Christs return is soon and so don't forget to lead others to Christ and glorify our creator always. Isabella

The notion of "Babylon" throughout both Old and New Testaments becomes exceedingly interesting from the view of a polyvalent paradigm! The suggestion that things are not always what they seem is exemplified by the notion of "SHESHAK" in The Book Of Jeremiah. For quite some time no one could find "SHESHAK" on any map or literature of the 6th century b.c. However! By applying the ATBASH CODE to the Hebrew spelling for "SHESHAK" (that is, [Shin, Shin, Caph]) the Hebrew letters for "BABEL" are generated, that is, [Beth,Beth, Lamed]). The esoteric thread permeating both Old and New Testaments is "BABYLON". RE: Tower of Babel (Book of Genesis); Nebuchadnezzer's Babylon (Book of Jeremiah); "Babylon" in FIRST PETER 5:l3 -- "Greetings from her who dwells in Babylon . . . [New English Bible]. {Walter C. There was an "abomination of desolation" when Antiochus Epiphanes sacrificed a swine on the Temple altar in 175 B.C. Unless Jesus was confused the abomination he mentions is a future event which is aptly described by John in Revelation in the middle of the last "seven" years of the 70 of sevens. There was no abomination of desolation as such in 70 A.D. when the Herodian temple was destroyed. I fail to see why this is difficult to understand.

EVERY Christian seeking clarity on Hanegraff's eschatology should first read "Last Days Madness" by Gary De Mar. De Mar lays it all out very clearly and gives the average person with an open mind a logical explanation of what happened in the past and what's in store for the future. I used to be a futurist who only believed in that position because it was dominant on Christian radio. It wasn't until I heard that there were other interpretations that I decided to do a study of my own to form my own opinion. Every believer should strive for this in their own spiritual journey. God bless !!

The landmark presentation of the accurate view of scrpture on this issue is to be found in the Orthodox doctrinal and confessional works of the Lutheran Church; Smalcard articles, Book of Concord. The kind of "headline theology" seen in the Left Behind series is dangerous as it focues on a false escatolgy and fails to deliver the Gospel in clear concise form. As we Lutherans would say he is guilty of confusing Law and gospel.

"Testimony”
On April 2, 2005, at 6:00AM, I was going east bound on the 580 Freeway, I was going to see my sister, when a car hit me from the back, on the right back passsenger tire, this made my car spin out of control and slammed me into the cement wall of the metro, our Bart here in California, which has an electric fence, as you see I am talking about this so only by Gods grace and mercy I am still alive, Ecc 3: 1-8, a time for everthing under heaven, One of the Fire Fighters that was on the scene said thank God, I said yes I had many of the “Does God Love You” tracks in my car and they were all over the Highway, the Highway Patrol Officers and the Fire Fighters were intrested in them some made a coment this is why I was still alive only because of God! Yes, it is Gods grace and mercy that I am still alive and I am able to tell the truth about Gods word, what most people do not understand that this physical life with out Gods grace is nothing, also we are to never despise this physical no mat

very interesting site, we do need History, I will come here again and look up some things. I am a KING JAMES BIBLE reader, A ONE GOD, apostolic born again believer in JESUS NAME, baptized in JESUS NAME, and filled with the Holy Ghost. This is good, The Salvation plan is in the early church, the book of Acts.

Here's my opinion:

John is the last disciple of Jesus who was alive who wrote the book of Revelation. The disciples thought Jesus would return in their lifetime, because they probably thought in their own minds that when the last one of the twelve died, then Jesus had to return. As it turned out, John was raptured to heaven in revelation chapter 4. The book of revelation was written to the seven churches of that time. And it pertains to this day as well. It was written to the church. John is a witness. Just because he was raptured doesn't mean that God disabled him from transferring scripture writting to the church. And did you know that there was a similar prophet in the old testament who also sent a letter to someone after he was raptured? Well that somebody was Elijah.  (2 Chron.21:12-15) As you can see there is a similarity in the way a rebuke letter is written. John and Elijah were both translated at one time. And the letters they both sent were translated as well. John and Elijah will serve as the two witnesses in Rev. chapter 11. After having said all this, churches have commonly believed that the rapture of the  church happens in Rev. 4:1. It seems clear to me that there will be a rapture of the church. Apostle Paul stated in 1Thes. 5:1-3 how the gathering of the saints would occur. Previous chapter states that we shall not prevent them which fall asleep in Christ Jesus. The preventing force is the holy spirit. That will be taken out of the way for a time. Then war will break out in an unprecedented way in the world. The rapture of the church actually takes place between seal 1 and seal 2 of revelation chapter 6. I believe this is so because Apostle Paul stated in 1  Thes chapter 5, that when people shall say peace and safety, then shall destruction come suddenly. In the past when people built the tower of babel, God interrupted the process of unity by causing people to speak different languages, so a scattering took place. Right now in this world, there is a movement towards peace in the mideast so to speak, called the  "roadmap". It's a way in which the world is trying to unite just like what happened when people tried to build the tower of babel. Eventually, God will interrupt the peace plan that mankind is working so desperately hard to attain. It seems the world is trying to go in that trend today. Instead of God causing people to speak a different language, a split will begin to occur instantly when God raptures his church out. This is why seal 2 of revelation chapter 6 best describes war because at that point, the restraining force is removed, the enemy will have freer reign. People will go absolutely insane when the rapture happens. It is most likely that things in this world will become very peaceful up to the point prior to rapture. So to really put things in perspective as to the timeline of things on earth, it would be easier to set revelation chapter 6 right after revelation chapter 3. I kind of hope I gave light as to what could really happen. As far as giving an insight, only Gods word is more reliable. People have so many viewpoints to things. But we are all fallible beings and mess up. As always, the times and seasons are in Gods hands. And no one knows when Jesus is comming back. At least  Jesus gave his people some signs as to the nearness of his return. You take care.  Paul Schumaker.

Dude!

You can't be serious about this preterist thing. 2 Peter 3:10 destroys your entire show. Oh yeah, and did you hear US Senator Biden's comments to the incoming Chief Justice Roberts on CNN last week? Yeah, that's right, you're going to be forced to take an implantable microchip soon (can't you just hear Rev. 13:17 creeping up behind you?). Sorry Pal, you're WAAAAAAAAAAAYYY OFF.

Sincerely in Christ,

Shalom,

I was looking up references to Psalm 119 and saw your site. I wanted to share that the Lord has revealed a timeframe for the end of days in Psalm 119. And if you are interested to read, got to Googel groups and type in, Psalm 119: TimeFrame for the End of Days.
Also, the Lord has revealed another wonderful thing from the Psalms concerning the remnant of Israel. Go to Google Groups and type in, Hagar: My Beloved.
In the Name,

Hello Todd, My name is Joseph Dragomir, pastor in a Penticostal church in Romaina. We are 5 people, four from an different church also penticostal and I, who began four years ago to study Revelation. Premilenialism did not answer our questions. I was pleased with Philip Mauro´s book "The hope of Israel what is it?" and searching his name on the web I found the Presterist Archive. This fact changed everything. Because my actual view is not in line with the "official" I had to choose between being pastor or promote this view. My asistent pastor is against me. Some other christian leaders from our town do the same. I did not preached yet this view in the church except reading some very chalanging verses. I prayed about, I did fast asking the Lord to show me wich way I could serve Him better. First I send you this email just to know that in Romania there are at least 5 preterist and to ask you about your advice and second to ask you about some help to go on. We already made some downloads of your materials such as "Dear dispensationalist friend, Fourty years of Biblical Typology and I saw others on the site. I´m looking forward to your response. God bless. For His glory Joseph

The Lord Jesus Christ says that all Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled one way or another in AD70 (Luke :22)

If He told the truth, and only an antichrist would say He didn't, then all covenants with Israel were conditional.

At or about the time of Christ's first advent, God concluded all Jews in unbelief, meaning that the took away their blessed status as children of God, and made them all just like the unbelieving Gentiles (Romans 11:22). Any Jew who did not believe in Christ was lost.

The Law and the Prophets (the Mosaic system) ended about the time of John the Baptist (Luke 16:16)

So, as far as the Bible is concerned, there are no Jews today, and the nation Israel, founded in 1948, is a secular nation. Jews have no "divine right" to any land except that which they buy and pay for.
