Thank you for your interest in the CD version of PreteristArchive.com. PreteristArchive.CD contains over
8,000 files related to the study of prophecy, religions, and the Bible. Presented are as many perspectives on First Century studies as have been archived off of the Internet since 1995.
INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT
The ministry behind "The Preterist Archive" website was originally begun in October of 1994 as part of a pastoral move to Antioch Baptist Church in Bismarck, North Dakota. Due to the emergence of the WWW, and the mass availability of a wide array of information, the time was right to get to the bottom of many prophecy-eschatology related questions that lingered from a Dispensationalist education and ordination.
PROJECT DEDICATION
Acknowledgements must be made to all the fine students of the Word whose works are contained within. They are all truly warriors on the eternal battleground for Jesus' reputation. Through the time-capsule ministry of The Preterist Archive, their words are intended to be read by countless generations to come.

PreteristArchive.CD is fully functional on IBM PC, Linux/Lindows or Apple Macintosh operating systems.
The CD is formatted to automatically open your default Internet web browser when inserted. This function can be disabled on most systems. If the site did not open when the CD was inserted, check to see if Autostart has been disabled on your system.
There are a few different ways to run the CD, if your computer is not autostart enabled. 1) Using "windows manager," click on the "index.html" file in the directory of your CD-ROM (D: or E:, usually). 2) Using a web browser, select "File | Open | (browse to CD-ROM directory and choose index.html)." 3) Click "Start" and then "Run." Type in the letter corresponding to your CD-Rom directory, and "index.html" Macintosh users may have to open the PC CD icon, choose a file open command, and then view index.html.

TIPS / TRICKS

Consider using this CD to increase the speed of your studies even when you are online. All outside links are maintained, so you can navigate through PreteristArchive.CD while browsing the Internet as usual. All outside website pages surfed to while online are saved to your computer for offline viewing at your leisure. In most cases, local links have a bold font style, while outside links do not.
For best results, become familiar with the file structure of the site. This will speed file hunting. For quick browsing, type the folder and file you are seeking in the url/address bar on your browser. (Hypothetical: changing 'C:\PreteristCD\Preterism\chilton-david_p_01'.html to 'C:\PreteristCD\Preterism\chilton-david_p_02' - Looking for a second Chilton article)
NOTE: Sometimes, a broken link in the regular website area will open the file structure of a directory, instead of an HTML file. Click on any file in the directory, and that will take you back in the site.
